Poliigon supplies textures, 3D models and HDRI lighting for architectural visualization, product renders, games and visual effects. Its material-ready assets reduce the work of assembling realistic surfaces from raw photographs.
What it does Browse assets online or import them through tools for Blender, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, SketchUp and Maya. Polydex adds a desktop browser for Poliigon assets and local files. The library supports both individual artists and studio workflows, with license scope determined by the plan rather than by the rendering software alone.
Pricing — checked 21 October 2026 (USD) Selected assets are free for personal or commercial projects. Paid individual/business plans renew monthly or annually; Enterprise terms are tailored. Official support illustrates Pro Unlimited at $69/month, but the live pricing table did not expose current plan amounts, annual discounts or fixed-download quotas, so confirm the selected offer. Unlimited is subject to fair use, not permission to mirror the library. Downloaded assets remain licensed after cancellation, but Unlimited users lose re-download/re-import access. Polydex Core is free; Pro is paid or included with an active Unlimited plan. AI credits and taxes can add costs.
Their story Andrew Price and the Poliigon team launched the service in May 2016 to solve the slow process of converting textures into usable material maps. It subsequently expanded beyond materials into models, lighting and software integrations.
