Papering turns an iPad into a tactile ring binder for notes, plans, journals and sketches. Pages turn over rings rather than slide across a screen. It requires iPadOS 18 or later; Apple Pencil is optional.
What it does
- Open the rings, rearrange sheets or move them between binders while keeping handwriting and decorations attached.
- Write or draw with a finger or Pencil. Version 1.10.0 adds typed page text, formatting, search and iCloud sync.
- Choose planning, journal and to-do inserts, or lined, grid, dot and blank paper. Import PDFs as binders or sheets, and use PDFs or images as custom inserts.
- Add photos, stickers, memo notes, washi tape and index tabs. Switch between one-page portrait and two-page landscape views.
- Search handwriting with on-device recognition. Sync through your own iCloud account and export PDFs; no Papering login is needed. Page contents are not sent to its servers.
Pricing — checked 22 October 2026 Free includes one binder with unlimited sheets, iCloud sync and PDF export; a trashed binder still counts. Pakistan’s App Store lists Pro at PKR 9,900, paid once for unlimited binders with Family Sharing, not a subscription. Some stationery is sold separately and is not included with Pro. “Founding Tester 2026” is listed at PKR 900, but public details do not explain eligibility or benefits. Confirm final pricing in-app.
