PitchGround is associated with a software-deals marketplace, but its main domain now presents a paid promotional leaderboard. These are materially different offerings: the current site should not be treated as confirmation that the former lifetime-deal service is still operating.
What it does The current homepage invites founders to submit a product URL or handle, choose a category and pay for visibility. Higher bids rank above lower bids. Its About page says the board resets monthly and the top five entries are archived in a Hall of Fame. This is paid placement, not an independent product-quality ranking. Older vendor documentation remains accessible on a subdomain and describes selling software coupon codes, feature tiers and lifetime-deal campaigns.
Pricing — checked 21 October 2026 (USD) The present homepage says new leaderboard spots start at $5. Placement can be outbid at any time, and it explicitly describes bids as final under a no-refund policy. The submission page offers a target rank or monthly spend rather than a fixed software subscription. Historic marketplace deal examples are not current offers, and current software-deal availability, refund coverage and legacy customer support could not be confirmed.
Their story The surviving marketplace guide documents an earlier business helping software vendors package discounted offers and distribute redemption codes. Today's main domain describes a different promotion model. No official explanation establishing continuity, ownership changes or migration between the two services was found, so the history should not be collapsed into an unverified rebrand story.
