Fluid is a spatial web browser and shared workspace for Meta Quest headsets. It arranges websites and web apps around you in VR for browsing, work and media, without requiring a connected computer. This is Fluid at fluid.so, not the unrelated desktop or business apps with the same name.
What it does Resize and position multiple windows, save their layout as a Space, use a physical mouse and keyboard, and customize the virtual environment. Shared rooms let people watch content, talk and work with shared windows. Optional Fluid Stream software for Windows and macOS shares a computer's screen, video and audio into a room. Standalone web use and desktop streaming are different workflows; the latter still needs a computer. Official product pages link to Meta Quest, not an Apple Vision Pro release.
Pricing — checked 21 October 2026 (EUR storefront) The linked Meta store currently displays €17.99 for Fluid Browser + Video Player and marks it Early Access with in-app purchases. That is a storefront observation, not a confirmed worldwide price: regional currency, taxes and offers may differ. A complete current in-app purchase price list was not exposed. Fluid's Stream page says no subscription is required for screen sharing. Hardware and subscriptions to websites or streaming services remain separate. Older free-beta testimonials on the homepage should not be treated as current pricing.
Their story Founders, Inc. identifies John Dagdelen, Ka'i Kau and Rob Coomber as the founders and dates the company to 2023. It says Dagdelen built the first version in 2021 to work in VR without repeatedly returning to a laptop. The small team's goal is to turn a headset into a practical, social spatial computer.
