Morpholio is a family of design apps for architects, interior designers and other creatives who want digital tools that retain the speed and flexibility of drawing by hand.
What it does Trace supports layered sketches, scaled plans, drawing markup and work over PDFs, images, maps and 3D models. Board combines moodboards with product libraries, presentation exports and shopping lists. Journal organizes sketches and collected ideas. Trace runs on iPhone/iPad; Board also supports Mac, with some features specific to iPad. These are complementary apps, not one all-inclusive CAD subscription.

Trace Plus allows 20 projects; Pro allows unlimited projects and adds advanced perspective/3D tools. The US store lists Trace Pro Monthly at $7.99, plus subscription entries of $24.99 Pro and $9.99 Plus. Board lists $4.99 Essentials, $7.99 Premium and $3.99/$11.99 Pro options. The web listings do not clearly label every renewal period, so verify the selected term in-app rather than treating these as one-time prices. Subscriptions renew through Apple, and app purchases are separate. Business and education options are available.
Their story Founded in 2010 by four architects, Morpholio aimed to keep hand drawing central to an increasingly digital design process. It became part of Vectorworks in 2026, connecting its mobile sketching tools with a broader CAD/BIM business.
